New clients are sometimes nervous to attend their first therapy visit. It’s natural to feel a little uneasy about telling a stranger your problems. We want to make your experience coming to our office as comfortable as possible. Our fees range from $50-$100 per hour depending on insurance and the experience of the counselor you see.
Please bring a list of the following with you to the first appointment: ID, insurance card, current list of medications, a credit card to be kept on file, a list of doctors, and exact payment (change is unavailable).
You will be asked to fill out paperwork about your health, physician information, medications, and symptoms. Some clients like to bring a list of their medications so they know they have the most current ones on file with us. After we complete paperwork, we begin our visit by talking about our practice, policies, procedures, and any questions you may have. We then begin the process of learning about the problem you are experiencing. If you have any questions or concerns along the way, please let us know. Clients usually feel more comfortable during the second visit since they are now familiar with our location and have met the counselor.
